Hey, y’all! I’m Mama J, and apparently, I’ve turned being nosy into a business. Not the peeking-through-your-blinds kind of nosy. More like the “Wait a minute, where did you get that, how much was it, and does it actually work?” kind.

I love finding good stuff, figuring out what’s worth the hype, and sharing the tea with anyone willing to listen. And trust me, I’ve got plenty to say.

One minute I’m researching the best products for your home, the next I’m knee-deep in a true crime rabbit hole, planning a vacation I haven’t booked, or discovering some random gadget I didn’t know existed five minutes ago.

Do I need it? Maybe not. Am I going to investigate it anyway? Absolutely.

So, Who Is Mama J?

I’m a Southern raised, Midwest-living woman with Louisiana roots, a little sass, a whole lot of opinions, and enough interests to keep the internet guessing.

I’m a mom, a very proud Grammy, a college student working toward my business degree, and a woman who has spent much of her life taking care of other people.

I’ve worked in healthcare, managed teams, raised a family, and learned a thing or two about life along the way. Now I’m building something of my own, something that lets me put my curiosity, creativity, and love of a good find to work.

And if I can make somebody laugh, save somebody money, or introduce somebody to their next favorite thing while I’m at it? Even better.

I’m also living proof that you don’t have to have everything figured out by 25. Or 35. Or 45, for that matter. Sometimes your next chapter starts when you finally decide it’s time to write it yourself.

I believe you can have good taste without spending your entire paycheck proving it. Fashion should be fun, beauty should make you feel good, and style doesn’t come with an age limit.

I’m the kind of woman who can spend three hours researching a $20 product but make a major life decision over coffee.

I love a bargain, but cheap and worth buying are two very different things.

My reading recommendations may occasionally require a warning label.

I’m a proud Grammy, and yes, my granddaughter has me wrapped around her little finger. Let’s not discuss how much.

I believe in second acts, big dreams, and doing things that scare you a little.

And I firmly believe that if you discover something wonderful, there’s no reason to keep it to yourself.

Why I Started Mama J’s Lifestyle Lists

For years, I’ve had ideas about starting my own business. Lots of ideas, actually. My brain doesn’t exactly have an off switch.

But somewhere between working, going to school, raising a family, and handling whatever life decided to throw at me that week, I realized something.

I didn’t want to spend the rest of my life only talking about what I wanted to do.

I wanted to actually do it.

Mama J’s Lifestyle Lists started with a simple idea: take all the things I genuinely enjoy researching, discovering, comparing, and talking about, and create a place where I can share them.

No pretending to love everything. No telling you something is amazing just because everybody else says it is. And definitely no acting like I invented the wheel because I found a cute storage basket.

Just interesting discoveries, useful recommendations, honest opinions, and a healthy dose of personality.

I’m building this little corner of the internet with big plans for its future. Not just for myself, but for the family and legacy I hope to leave behind.
